my garden

I decided that I wanted to try to grow a garden....

I loVE LOVE LOVE fresh herbs- they are my all time fave things soo...............................................................................

So this post is fro my pal and fellow blogger Jill-

As I mentioned: I LOVE love love fresh herbs- I use them all the time. I usually have rosemary and parsley in my garden but this last year the snow killed it all-

So in my hunt for rosemary I decided that i would plant a few other thigns too-

and here are the results:

Tionight my pal needed lettuce for the BBQ and I was like .... I have some from the garden I can bring..... ( how great is that??)

I planted: lettuce ( leaf and butter) broccoli, green peppers, beans, zuuchini ( LOVE This!!) and tomatos alsong with my herbs ( basil, thyme, rosemary and cilantro)

I am already enjoying the fruits of my labours and Jill I must tell you that all I do is water at lest once a day and the odd time I weed it ( which i need to do soon as you can tell from the pictures)

so If I can do it ANYONE can!

Ok so I was never a HUGE micheal jackson fan- I mean I owned thrilled ( who did not?) cassette tape which is since long gone and I followed his anticics especially in recent years when it was just to bizzare not to- plastic surgery, babies via surrogate, child molestation the list is endless really- when i heard he was at the O2 i thought it would be fun to go see him I mean it IS the O2 and I am borderline obessed with the O2 and Wembly mainly from my pop music days it really is my mecca-

I feel sorry for his kids as we learned that he died- my first thought was no way - can we say publicity stunt? Her had postponed openeing his shows in london the first four were moved to march. mmm makes you wonder - he got paid up front for the shows ( how much??) and now he wont even do them-

Anderson cooper ( yes I ama cnn JUNKIE) said that he as a BILLIONAIRE yet his ranch was in forclosure? mmmm it all seems a little too convienenet to me-

I love how the media haunted him daily about all the pieces he was known for and now it is all "the greatest preformer" best this best that- I mean the guy was on trial ho wmany times for molestation? He dangled his baby over 30 stories, and had more plastic surgury than ashley simpson but now that he is dead we all go ON and ON about how fabuous he was.... sigh...

I know i wish that i too could take things at face value- i think that is why I am good at my job! LOL back to Micheal MJ- it is the end of an era really, my childhood was invaded with MJ's songs and he was only 50 that seems soo young now!-
anyway maybe take a minute and listen to some MJ today- he was a good dancer and the songs are still catchy.. even h=if he was a pervert....

I have been sruggling with this issue for a while. See I love to skate, I really only get to skate once a week ( if I am lucky) I shoudl really be skating 2/xs to improve. The skating went by the way side when lacrosse started beacsue the time ( sat am) was filled with the boys each going a different direction for lacrosse games. Mummy comeas last-

i know many mums who can put aside time, or use daycare at the community center to work out, I dont look down upon them for that- i just cant bring myself to do it. I sort of wish I could time away for something that seems slef indulgent seems wrong? I shoudl feel guilty about setting time aside for me? Is that how it works? I am not sure- I walk dont get me wrong, to school (almost every day) and down at the forshore with helen and kate. But this is not enough to help with weight loss or imporove fitness levels is it????. I know that I need to not go crazy to be able to still nurse and have enough milk and that is important to me . SO i guess I need to suck it up and realise that my dreams of time off and weight loss are not far away - I mean i hope they are not.... kate is 18 months now!!!

the world according to my starbucks cup...

SO I got a cup at starbucks today that talked about how it is important to spend time with your kids rather than spending tonnes of money on them- that time is the true gift-
Is this the universae tryint o make me feel better about having NO money???? lol I know time is the best- but a vacation would be nice too......

to all- ihave been busy making my daddy ( and hubby who IS a daddy) dinner -which includes homemade apple pie ( my dad likes that) and i even bought red meat ( for him ) lol
Ihave been prety busy and have actually posted a few times but have not added them to the blog becasue of content- I decieded tokeep that to myself ( LONG story)
kate is talking up a storm right now- they other day totally out of the blue as i was kissing her a bunch of times she looked up at me and siad mama STOP!- SERIUSLY!!!! STOP!
GRAPES, NURSE, BOUNCE, STOP, hannah and even a few more words all of a sudden a word explosion over here - i love it!!!!!
this week the kids get out of school - wish me luck tis summer is gonna be tough- work, hours in , kids busy and not sure yet of dougs work hours ( or if he evenhas a job....) sigh

the weekend..

Well it was the bellie bowl again this weekend!!! it was fab - in case you dont remember this was last year lol so I actualy was not as tired this year becasue i kep thinking about how it was LAST year , and it was fathers day too!
the boys had a super weekend will went to thomas with auntie heather and my mum, alex team played super lacrosse and WON the tournament!!! that was super exciting!!!! I only had to volunteer for 3 hours a day and will did not have any games. SO he befriended the siblings brothers and played played played! it was good and now i am ready for bed !!!
