jane's house

We bought our house four years ago- when we moved in someone asked us where we lived and they said 'oh you live in jane's house' and i said no we did not buy our house from her- but from another couple but it did not matter- it was still reffered to as jane's house. Who was this jane? I vaguely remembered seeing her with her twins ( who were born a week before wills) at preschool meetings- her with both of them there little babes - eveyrone taking turns holding and cuddling them- mmm So when a year later at the preschool registration there was the infamous jane! I ended up talking with her and quickly realised why our house was still being reffered to as her's =)

When her hubby had a brush with death ( literally) i took over dinner for them one night and jane said to me ' this will com eback to you " and i said i was just happy to give to HER- that is the kind of person she is you want to help out and give back- she is what pay it forward probably began with.

so as Will and her daughter became fast friends- and through that I began to see more of her. When I was preggo with kate jane took william to a gym class with the twins from preschool every friday- it was such a kind gesture for a tired stressed out preggo !!! WHEN Kate was born the twins came over and celebrated our joy with us and I happily took them when ever I could as I loved having them both over- will played with C and N helped me out with kate ( she loves babies) and i got to see what playing with girls was all about!!

When will started K he was in the opposite class and we dont see them as often becsue they are in school when he is not =( so over the chrsitmas break when I opened my email and read taht they had decided to move to the island- I was sad- I think there may have even been a tear or two-

NOt have the twins around? not see jane? ....mmmmmm The move fro them is a good one- they will have what htey have been searching for and we al lknow how important that is to family.
Last night we had a social to send the family off to the island- well attended (of course!) I think the fact that we HAD a social for them tells you how much they will be missed- I think everyone secretly hopes that they will be back , but until then we have to rememebr good times, visit on the island and keep in touch. At least I am one of the lucky ones, I mean I DO live in Jane's house.......
